WinDigiPet 2018 and Marklin CS3 and CS3 Plus
« am: 22. November 2018, 03:18:30 »
I am thinking of upgrading my old eCOS 2 to Marklin's new CS3 or CS3 Plus. I plan to keep the HSI-88 to manage the s-88 contacts. I can see that WDP 2018 supports the CS3 and it can be added into the system menu.

Are there any problems using the CS3/CS3 Plus with WDP 2018?  Any advice?

Adrian

Hello Adrian,
there should'nt be a problem using CS3 or CS3+with s88n.
But I have no advice how to work with HSI-88 from Littfinsky.
For standard use of CS3 see manual 2018 chapter 3.5.25.3 Märklin Central Station 3 (plus).
Regards Loddel

Hello Loddel, thank for the feedback.  I suspected that it might be okay.  I was just wondering if there were any strange behaviours reported on the German language side of the forum.  Thanks to the great design of WDP, I know that my existing HSI-88 setup will be unaffected by the switch to the CS3/CS3Plus.

Hello Matthais.  Even native English speaking people have trouble with contractions.  I blame the Americans for mangling the English language..  ;)

Best regards and thanks to the both of you,
Adrian
