Titel: Märklin m83 Decoder
Beitrag von: dconner am 22. August 2019, 20:45:24
Dear Forum, Many thanks to Marcus and his father for the English translation.
What am I doing wrong with my Märklin m83 decoder registration? I,m using it to operate the decoupling track, which works from CS2, but not from WinDigpet.
                     Best Regards-Dave CONNER.

Hi Dave,

can you post a screenshot of the solenoid device configuration in the track diagram editor for the uncoupling track?

Regards
Markus

Dear Markus, Many thanks for the quick reply. Since last night I have discovered that Märklin have a newer m83 decoder:- 60832, which I have just ordered. I suspect that this new decoder will be more accesable than the older one for WinDigipet-mfx ?. If I may, I will keep you posted.

Dear Marcus, m83 decoder have been installed for the uncoupler track with the following anomolies:-
Märklin CS2 does not respond to a new activation time.
Windigipet has a possible 0 - 6 second activation time which has no effect either.
The Windigipet turnout test software only seems to recognise solonoid devices using MM as opposed to dcc and or Mfx ?
Later today I hope to be able to discuss these points with Bernd Senger at our WDP forum.
I wish you a great weekend and once again many thanks for your interest.

Dave Conner.
