Two-way driving in the shadow station

(1/1)

Andrzej:
Could anyone explain the bidirectional traffic in the FDL SBS?

According to the comment in the settings (marked below with the red box), there should be one TrainDisplay for each direction.

Meanwhile the pdf document states that the iZNF can be used twice in SBS, if there is bidirectional traffic.
“Beim FDL-SBS darf ein verwendetes iZNF nur einmal in allen FDL-SBS vorhanden sein. Außer es existieren zwei FDL-SBS für einen Schattenbahnhof mit beidseitiger Befahrung.”

Sven Spiegelhauer:
Hallo Andrzej,

on the WDP-USB stick there is a PDF to the FDL-SBS. Unfortunately only in German (sorry).

If the 'Two direction ...' option is set then directions must be specified in the 'Dir' column.
Hint: Set the option 'Two direction ...' and enter the directions in the left area (compulsory), even if you only use the FDL-SBS for one direction.

(German -> Englisch = Google)

Andrzej:
Hi Sven,
my problem was, do I need to create second TND (ZNF) in each track, if the shade station operates bi-directional?
Now, I see my mistake. The shortcut TD refers to the 'Train Director' not to the 'train display'.
But anyway, thank you for your response.

Another question. Do all the tracks in both SBS Train Directors (for each direction) have to be identical? I mean, can one direction manage just three tracks, the other five?

Thanks,
Andrzej

No.

No. Können unterschiedlich sein. Wenn aber kein TND des einen SBS in dem anderen vorkommt, dann sind das zwei getrennte SBS.
