Dear Mr Peterlin

Thank you for your reply. I think the damage was done when I reversed the cable leading from the module to the interface. All the contacts were shown as occupied and this could have caused a safety cutout. I have entered 1 as the number of modules since I have only 1 with 8 contacts.
