I just changed my old PC working under Win 2000 to a new one running under XP. I installed from the disk version 8.1 and nothing works. The program even did ask me the one time codes that are printed on the CD. As soon I start the program, it looks if the original CD is in place and then returns to my window screen without any error. Any idea what could be the problem or do you need more details from my new PC

bobboone: did this work for you? I cannot get my WDP layout version of 8.1 to work. Sounds like a similar issue to what you had.

I install WIN-DIGIPET 8.0 Premium Edition (I have German version) and next to I update from version 8.0 to version 8.5 with downloaded file WDUP85DX.exe and started SETCODE85.exe. WIN-DIGIPET 8.5 starts and running with original CD 8.0 ok but Track Editor cannot drawing symbols. When I install WIN-DIGIPET 9.2 DEMO (ENG) the Track editor drawing symbols all right. I use WIN-XP Professional. Exist Symbol-Tabellen Version 8.5 ? When I saw symbols in file SymA12.bmp system wrote me "Unknown format" when I saw symbols WDP 9.2 DEMO file Sym_A12.bmp I saw picture with symbols. Where is my problem ? Thanks.

Hello Mr.Skaroupka,
the problem is your Windows System with the language CZ !! The password letters didn't exsist under your language CZ.
Please change via windows system setting to english language.
This problem doesn't exsist anymore up to the version 9.x english.

many thanks from The Czech Republic. I set Windows language for WIN-DIGIPET from CZ to DE (german version) and all is right. Symbols are painted. How much cost upgrade from 8.5 to 9.2 ?

it works ! Fine...
the normal update price from 8.x to 9.x is 99,50 Euro + shipping.
The old CD 8.0 has to be sent back.
