Please can you help me resolve some problems I am having with Win Digipet 8.41. I have an IB connected to a P3 PC 450mhz with 128mb of Ram and run Windows XP.
Question 1. After 5 mins of running my layout with Automatic Demand contact I get the following message "INTERFACE NOT READY BREAK SIGNAL RECEIVED PLEASE WAIT FOR 10 SECONDS". When I click okay here the Win Digipet program crashes.
Question 2. Locomotives some times change to the wrong starting direction to that which is entered in the Locomotive database when Win Digipet is first loaded.
Question 3. Will the next release of Win Digipet support Marklin's Central Station

Hello Andy,
I think you should increase your RAM size. 128 MB is the minimum to run Win XP without any other programms running. With this RAM configuration your PC is swapping a lot between RAM and Harddisk. This causes the system to slow down.
You should increase your RAM size to 256 MB or better 512 MB.

Hi Andy,
As Thorsten already stated, either the performance of your PC is too low, your COM-port is not OK or your IB would be defective.
Could probably fit to topic #1. If you just started WDP, please check the direction of the particular Lok-Control AND the direction arrow of the IB. If both show the same AND correct direction, the problem is def. outside WDP.
Märklin still has not open/published their protocol for any 3rd party software nor they have announced it for the future.
If Märklin will do so somewhen in the future then I'm sure WDP will support it in one of its following updates or releases.
