I used WinTrack 7,0 3D to design my railroad. Is it possible to insert this design into WinDigipet Pro X3, or is there no compatibility or no interfase ?

Thank you Torsten, Peter and Bernd for your help.
In fact the two softwaresolutions dont have to be compatible. They both have a different goal. One is a real track- and landscapedesigner software, while the other is a pure technical systembuilder.
I'm back on track thanks to you chaps.
Have a lot of trainfun !   ;)

Hello August,

There is no way or interface into integrate Wintrack to WDP. The best examples for a design you will find in the new forum Anwender Gleisbilder (http://www.windigipet.de/foren/index.php?board=19.0)

Hi August,

as Peter told you, there's no way to convert or use the design of WinTrack or any similar programs in Win Digipet. I think there is no way into other programs like e.g. railware ..., too

To explain this is very easy, because WinTrack is a planning program which describes the physical issues of your model railroad.

WinDigipet or any other programm like it, would be designed to configure the technical details and running a model train. The layout which is designed inside of these programs must be more logical than physical. Inside WinDigipet you'll describe the layout of contacts, turnout addresses and adresses of locomotive decoders. The physical layout of your model railroad is pretty far away to these features.
