Hi,
I was working well with CS1 (reloded) and WDP X.3 english. Because CS1 faild I got a CS2 and mandatory WDP 2009,
I bought 2009.1 french.
After had made all paramerters in the CS2 I have started WDP 2009.1 french. All turnover and signal are ok.
Loco in MM or DCC are OK , but none of MFX works. In loco MFX the command relier (link) don't work.
All loco even MM and DCC are with the red cross in the upper left.
What to do?
Thanks in forward for an help.

Hello Andre,
there is no locomotive transfer function in the CS2, so WDP can not get a list of locomotive in the CS2 or vice versa. So we had to implement a trick for linking mfx locos. Just hit the link button in the locomotive database on the decoder sheet. Afterwards change the locomotive direction of the mfx loco you want to link using the red speed knob of the CS2. Now the red cross will change to a green check mark in the locomotive database of WDP and WDP can now control the locomotive. Please do not forget to save the locomotive database record using the Save function in the locomotive database.
Regards
Markus
Thanks ,
It's working. that was a long job, because it'is not so easy to each time select from the CS2. but that work.
Thanks again
André

I tried the method below, the symbol turned green but i still can't control my MFX locos.. What have i missed?
Hello Beano,
Did you save before you exited the Lok Database?
Elliott
Yes I did. I tried 2 locos on mfx using the method above. The green check mark appeared. I saved and exited but was not able to control the locos. I am using the mfx address that appears in the CS2. If i cannot get this to work, Windigipet will not be viable for me.
Hello Beano,
I just want to make sure you hit the correct save. I made the mistake of using the save in the box near the picture without actually saving using the menu bar. See the picture below for the correct save button.
Hope this solves your problem :)

Thanks Elliot, yes that was the problem. It is now working. I have some issues with the translation. I am even having problems with the forum as it is all in german... I am now having a problem with no response from my feedback modules. Is there any kind of trick to get them to communicate with WDP? I have set-up 2 modules in WDP
1-16 and 1-32 but can get no response.

Hello Beano,
yes, it's a little bit tricky.
Win-Digipet :
==========
set up : CS 2 - from module 1 to module 4 - start WDP at module 1 - means contacts 1 to 32
only one line !!!
CS 2:
=====
Draw a track symbol on the CS2 display and give therein the contact number 32. The highest one !!!
CS2 calculate now autom. all connected s 88 !!
If it works now, please make an entry here.
best regards
Hello Beano,
Did you mean 1 -16 and 17 - 32? What feedback modules are you using? I'm using the S88 Modules from Märklin (60880). If you are using these modules I have a picture of how they are set up in WDP attached.
Are the modules working OK with the CS2? If so, you need to set up a layout on the CS2 which has the highest feedback number on it...as pointed out by Dr. Peterlin.
Hope this helps you further,
Elliott
