Hello !
I have a quick question for the expert:
I have made several hundred routes and many tours. I have made a few Tour-Automatics. In some cases I insert a single route into the Tour Automatic. But which MATRIX is the active one? The one from the original route, or the one in the Tour Automatic?
I notice that the MATRIX in the Tour Automatic is set to "ALL", even when the MATRIX from the route is set only for smaller trains.. Running the Tour-Automatic, I just had an episode where a too-long train selected and stopped on a track meant only for smaller trains. Potential accident..
Does it mean that I must manually adjust all MATRIXs in the Tour Automatic-Editor, to the ones in the actual route?
It is probably in the manual, but I did not find it, sorrry..
Best regards,
Per.
Hello Per Olsen,
I would say, try it out. But the answer is simple (I hope). If you use only the Route Editor, so right click from start until end, than you use the Matrix of the Route-Editor. If you use the Tour-Automatic, than you use the Matrix of the Tour-Autmatic Editor. Formost, try the different methods and see what happens.

Hi !
That's exactly what I am doing right now :)
I would have thought that the MATRIX in the route was the most important, and would be transferred to the Automatic. But we'll see.
Thanks anyway !

Normaly I think, you would use only the Tour-Automatic function to drive your trains or am I wrong?
In that case u use the Matrix of the Tour-Automatic.
I only use the Route Editor to move trains when I am testing and nothing else!

Hello again.
I found the problem, my own mistake. So please disregard...
Best regards,

Now I am curious, what was the problem. Maybe I can learn something more this afternoon.

Hello Rob.
Well, it was kind of emberrassing...! :D
The IZN-system is quite new, so I had made a mistake in the Loco Database. I had set the lenght of the train to 171cm LoB and Vehicle matrice to 151-180cm. All normal. But for some test, I had reduced the last one to 0-60cm. But after I had finished testing, I had forgot to increase it again to 151-180cm. So that is the reason why it drove into a too-short track.
Completely my own mistake. Sorry to have bothered the forum with this, I should have seen it myself, but it was so obvious, that I did not see it :D
Best regards,
Per.
Okee, thanks for the reaction.
