Hello.
I have set up the measuring speed profile in WDP. I have put in my own values in Block A, B, C, D, E etc. And it works fine.
But sometimes, after I have made som manual backups between computers, all my own values for Block A etc, are lost. So I must put them in again manually.
In which file are these values stored? I would like to have a backup of that file, to copy back to my system when this happens. Or is there another way to avoid to loose these datas?
Best regards,
Per.
Hello Per,
the file is named: Speed2_1.DAT
It's strange on your side, because normally all *.DAT fiels will be saved during a backup

Hello.
Thank you. Yes, I do not understand what happens. I can see that there are
SPEED.DAT
SPEED2_1.DAT
SPEED2_2.DAT
SPEED2_3.DAT
SPEED2_4.DAT
SPEED2_5.DAT
And they are all copied to/from my PC. I copy a lot to/from the main PC and my laptop, and I do not run speed-calibrating every day :) :) But after some time (like yesterday) my values are lost (seem to be the values I did use earlier, and have modified), and I have to insert them again.
So I make a seperate backup of the file SPEED2_1.DAT for this purpose in the future..?
Best regards, and thanks !

Hello to all, I have the same problem. Al the files [Speed2_1 thru Speed2_5.DAT] are present.

Hello Per,
ZitatSo I make a seperate backup of the file SPEED2_1.DAT for this purpose in the future..?
That's not necessary !
Every project save these speed.dat files and as you see all 5 files are copied. Perhaps you have loaded a wrong or old project !
I haven't another explanation !

Hi again.
No, I did not use an old project. I cannot explain it. It has happened more than once. No big deal, I will try to watch carefully the next time it happens. I have now checked ALL my projects and have deleted ALL old backups. All my SPEED2_1.DAT files are now identical.
Best regards,
Per.
Hello Per,
please check that the SPEED2_1.DAT is not write protected. This could be a cause.
All the files are there and they are not write protected.

Just checked, none are write-protected..
