We have a loco on the layout that will not drive through Windigipet at all. Even if you manually drive with the virtual throttle. But if I use the Intellibox it drive perfect.
Any ideas? I have checked address in loco date base and every thing I can think of and still no luck.
Thanks for your help
James
Hello James,
it seems you have the wrong protocol. Check that you have entered MM, or Dcc or whatever the loco has in WDP.
Hi Stefan
That's for all your help.
I have attached a picture of the loco we have the problem with. It look right to me but may be I am missing something.
James
Hi James,
I see that this loco is not calibrated but this is not the problem. Nevertheless please go into the calibration and have a look at the speeds to the right. Look for the horizontal red bar. It should be at the top. Is it at the bottom? If yes move it up.
If no please make a backup of your project without the loco pictures and symbols and attach it here. Please tell me if it runs sometimes or never with WDP.
Once I have backed up the project. How do I put it on here?
James
Hello James,
make sure not to include the loco pictures nor the symbols. Then your backup should be less then 2 MB. On the bottom of the forum click on "Reply", not on "Quick Reply"! On the next page below the text you will see Attachments. Click there and select your backup.
The file is still over 5MB have attached a screen shot of how we are do the backup.
Hi,
the picture is too small!

Hi Stefan
Many thanks for all your help, the problem is resolved, I had changed several sections to add extra feedbacks and had mistakenly added the same feedback number to 2 bits track, as 1 of them was not connected to a module it did not show the section as occupied but the computer saw it.
I am away to modify my diagram to take into account all the information you have given me. It is good to learn. I am just thinking of upgrading to the latest version as James informs me it is a lot better.
Many Thanks
Chris
Hello Chris,
I'm glad it works! Yes, the new version is much better. To mention only one thing there's the new intelligent train number display that smoothly slows down your train and stops it exactly where you want.
