I have just tried to create route using the wizard, but it came up No route available. when using create route we were able to get the route to work, why would it not work in the wizard?
All feedbacks etc checked and Ok.
Thanks
Chris
Hello Chris,
are there any breaks in the track such as letters, numbers or bridges? If yes then you need to set jump marks before and behind the gap.
Hi Stefan
I have had this problem 3 times over this weekend, route sets Ok when done manually but will not do it via Wizard, I have noticed that in ALL these 3 the problem involved a Fleischmann Double slip (not he same one).
I have noticed when setting route I have to make sure the route is set properly and the slip is showing the correct angle of departure. Do you think I may have the double slips set incorrectly?
No the route is not broken.
Thanks
Chris
Hi Chris,
yes, I think so. When you use the wizard it searches its way first in the direction the turnouts show. If it can't find a way it goes back to the last turnout and tries the different way and so on. But this is limited. After some tries WDP stops searching and shows an error.
So setting all turnouts and double slips into the right direction helps if WDP is unable to find the way. I don't think you need to fix anything on your layout.
Hi Stefan
Many Thanks.
I have also taken your advice and added all the signalling.
Chris
