Hi
I am still having problems with trains setting off in the wrong direction. Different locomotives on different routes at different times in the programme and on different tracks.
Hi Chris,
but with the same type of decoder?
Hi
No different decoders, Zimo, Lenz & Uhlenbrock.
Also loco that would not run in WDP but would with intellibox is now running in WDP, just re saved information put in when originally loaded to system.
Thanks
Chris
Hi Chris,
does this happen (wrong direction) when you start WDP or in the middle of running an automatic? If this happens while starting WDP did you run the locos in the meantime manually? WDP saves the last direction you drove the loco before quitting WDP and restores it when loading the loco data. So if you ran the locos between two WDP sessions manually and in the other direction this explains it.
Hi Stefan
The last loco to go the wrong way was on its 3rd movement in its sequence. It is a push pull 218 with 3 coaches which reverses out of a siding onto the main line then changes direction and runs into a platform, it then waits for 5 minutes and then heads off around the room (it was on this move that it whent backwards.
Thanks
Chris
Hi Chris,
ok, I need a backup again with exact information where to find this strange situation.
Hi Stefan
Just going to try one thing first, James has told me I may not have enough amps to be able to complete all the point/route setting, I will add an extra transformer to my set up and try that first, I have 86 switches which included some 8 double slips and one of the moves means 3 slips and 2 points changing just for the one train movement with up to 10 other trains running their routes at the same time.
Thanks
Chris
Hi Stefan
Added extra transformer to give more amps but no change. Changed loco and all going well then came up with message output buffer overload then windows shut down with the attached message. any ideas?
Thanks
Chris
