Hello.
I know that the order of feedback contacts in IZNF is from left to right, or from top to bottom. But what about the stations With tracks going diagonally? What order is correct for feedback contacts?
Best regards,
Per.
No answer...
It seems that from left to right is correct, diagonally up- or down-wards? Can anybody verify this? Cannot find it in any docs.

Per.

Hi Per
probably i do not understand your question or misunderstood your target but since versione 2012.2 the contact order for the IZFN is always from the incoming direction to the destination contact, i mean if you have the label on contact 3 and you have contact 1 & 2 on its left side and contact 4 & 5 on the right side. The order is for a train coming from left 1,2,3 and for a train coming from right 5,4,1. This order is absolutely indipendent from the shape you give to your layout.

Hi guys,
it is holiday time, so an answer can also last more than 24 hours ;)
@Pierangelo:
Your answer is right for WDP 2012, but not for 2015. Because in 2015 we have two direction train number displays.
@Per:
I would suggest not use diagonal train number displays for iTND with two directions. It should work in most cases, but you always have to think a little harder than for normal horizontal or vertical case.
I mean this: the definiton is not real definite.
If you install a small train number display and the tracks are connected to the left and the right side or on the upper and the lower side it is relatively easy as well as for large train number displays in diagonal tracks, but for the case of a small train number display and e.g. connected tracks at left and upper side this is not supported.
Example:
You have a train number display in a diagonal track which fulfills the condition above (small train number display with both connectors vertically or horizontally or just a large train number display) you have to take care that the contact definition is always left to right or top to bottom depending on connectors (or orientiation for large TND). If you now record a route from to this TND then if the train reaches the contacts as listed in the iTND configuration then the direction indicator has to point to the right or to the bottom (depending on orientation) and if the train reaches the TND over the reverse contact order it has to point to left or upper side.
Of course this is the same for all two direction iTND, but for the normal case the route wizard will always set the direction arrows in the correct way, but for some diagonal cases you have to take care, that it is set correct.

Hello Markus.
I have one station With 3 tracks. All With large Train number displays. They all have Connection Points at top of one Field and at bottom of another Field. So they all run top-to-bottom, ot bottom-to-top. Should I still rather use 2 displays rather that 1 With 2 directions?
Regards,
Per (also on holidays..)
Hello Per,
I would suggest to give it a try with the two directions. I think it might work.
Unfortunately I had not time to test it myself within the last days.
