Hello,
In Windigipet 2015 I enter all locomotive function in Vehicles decoder up to f15 for my Märklin mfx locomotive, only f0 to f4 function is responding.
My layout is connected to Tams Master Control and HSI-88 USB.
Is somebody able to help me to solve this issue.
Thank you very much for your support.
Hello,
as far as I know Tams Master Control supports only the motorola protocol (f0 .. f4 available). Only with mfx protocol f0 to f15 are available.
Best regards from Braunschweig, germany
Hello Olivier,
yes and no. There is a hidden easteregg in the Tams that enables a protocol similar to mfx. It's called m3. Once enabled you can use the other functions, too.
Have a look here: http://www.windigipet.de/foren/index.php?topic=70182.msg154904#msg154904
Dear Stefan,
Thank you very much for your explanation, I will try to setup my Tams MC accordingly.
With my best regards.
Olivier
Dear Stefan,
I activated the m3 program in my Tams Master Control in following the description according to the link from the German forum, now I got m3 Program, when I press OK then it goes to Address m3. What should I write here? It looks a number has to be written. For the time being my mfx loks are still not responding despite the activation of the m3 program. My Tams MC software version is 1.4.7
Thank you for your help and answer.
Best regards.
Olivier
Hello Everybody,
Found the answer thanks to the merchant who sold me Win-Digipet, you need to connect to your Tams Master Control to the programming track with special cable provided, then put your locomotive on this special track and follow the steps mentioned earlier and it works.
I noticed for some locomotives it did not work immediately and I had to do it a couple of time, but at the end I could get all functions activated.
Hello,
it is also possible to aktivate F5 to F8 with Motorola in a MFX Decoder.
You only need a 2. Motorola Adress (in most cases 255 in stock locos) you are able to change it in Register/CV 75 MM First following Adress.
This 2. adress cuold be written to the WDP Loco Data and soon vou are able to use f0 to f8
