Titel: Link solenoid devices command not working
Beitrag von: Steveh61 in 09. Juni 2016, 10:00:37
I am running version 2015.1b premium edition and while in the track editor part of the program  I am getting a error message while using the "Link solenoid devices "command. The message reads  "No suitable digital system installed. Solenoid device link manager will be closed."
Obviously I do have a system installed  (Marklin Central station 2) as everything else seems to be working.
Any ideas.?
Thanks Steve

Hi Steve,

I don't have a CS2 so I can only guess. But - seen your two problems with the CS2 - I have the feeling that your network setup is not correct. Obviously some parts work but others don't. Have you checked the firewall if all necessary ports are open?

My network is running fine. There are no problems there. My CS 2 and my PC are connected to a standard network switch . There is no firewall between the two.My firewall is on a router which in turn connects to the Internet. Both the PC and CS 2 are not having any connection problems talking to the Internet. I only have a problem with windigipet " link solenoid device command.i might have to reinstall the whole application after dei stalling it. Is there any special requirements that I need to be aware of.?
Thanks

Hello Steve,

you do not need the link function for the CS 2. It is just for CS 1 and ECoS 1/2. These is just necessary for this system because they do not communicate with Win-Digipet using addresses but objects.
The CS2 communicates via addresses and thus it does not have the need to link.
