Hello all,
I purchased some Tam's S88-3 & 4 feed back modules for my new digital HO lay out.
I am confused somewhat about the connections which the manual describes as " Input 1-16 = Mass Contacts"!
I always was under the impression that Mass = Earth wire!
Is  on Tam's 1-16 connected to the PLUS or MINUS on the track?
TIA Erwin

Hello Erwin,
I see from the word Mass that you have a German manual.

I can't help you as I don't know if you are using a two rail or three rail system. But there is a manual in English.

Hello Rupert,
I am using a 2 rail system, Peco Tracks.
Cheers Erwin

Hello Erwin,
With the Esu,  the outputs for the track connection are called B and O, with Lenz J and K and with my bidiB the outputs are called 1 and 2

With a 2 rail system one of the wires is called the Ground and the other wire is connected to the rail section to be detected.  The Groud is the rail that  is not divided into detection pieces.
The attached picture should make it clear.

Kind regards,
Rupert
