Hello everyone! My first post here. My dad and I have a layout with the tama easy controller and WinDigiPet. I have a problem with my new SudExpress EuroDual loco, and I can't seem to find a solution: When I only start the layout, without starting WDP - it's fine and I can cotrnoll the loco. But when I start WDP, as soon as the program starts loading locomotives, I loose all control. Need to restart the layout - and of course lose WDP - to regain any sort of contact with tge loco. I have the same problem with my friends ESU class 66. Never figured out what does this, any ideas?
I totally forgot to mention that we run Märklin c-track, with the tams controller 😅
Hi,
start WDP bureau version and put the locos that cause troubles on display case/showcase. For these locos WDP wouldn't send any commands anymore. Then try again with the WDP full version. Is WDP starting correctly?
Hi again, and sorry for my late reply - on vacation these weeks.
The problem is that I loose contact with the loco when WDP starts, the loco is not in the database in WDP since I have no way of contacting it in WDP.
Hi,
why don't you add it in WDP?
Because when WDP starts, the loco loses all contact with my controller, I cant start og stop ut, nothing. So to add it Will not help, since the loco is «dead» when WDP starts...
Edit: I actually tried adding it, still dead. When the locos start loading in WDP you Can see the lights go off in the loco, all sounds also, and you can no longer control it.
Hello,
Which data format are you using with the locomotive? DCC?
And do you have any MFX/m3 controlled locomotive on your layout.
As far as I see your new loco is maybe equiped with a ESU Lokpilot 5 which is MFX-capable.
And it is characteristic for MFX enable-decoders, that as soon as the loco sees a MFX signal for any other loco (when WDP starts and you have just one single MFX loco this will happen) it will not respond to any other format during this session.
This a MFX-by-design thing...
Conclusion: use the locomotive with m3/MFX format or reprogram the decoder to disable MFX. In case of an Lopi 5 CV 47 might be the right one. Please consult the decoders manual.

Markus
Hi,
- which address does it have?
- have you set a consist address for the loco
- is the data protocol correct? Check if it's set properly to DCC, mfx, MM or whatever the decoder is listening to
- last option: reset the decoder
