Titel: Requesting Zimo Stein feedback modules is not working properly
Beitrag von: Rupert van Swol in 10. November 2025, 09:15:53
Hello WDP Team

I waited a long time to report this, as I was initially convinced that one Stein was damaged.
It has been returned from Vienna without any repairs.
In the meantime, the fourth Stein was also delivered.
It has been established that when starting up, only the first position  and third position of the Steins are displayed.

They are connected in numerical order: 1->2->3->4->5, etc.

The Rocco CAN bus isn't running smoothly either. The number of modules is correct, but there are gaps.

However, when I look at the Zimo MX33 with the E+8 command key, the Canbus is built up with all Stein modules and Roco modules with their respective status, occupied or not occupied.

Next, the feedback overview in Windigipet is also updated to match the display of the Zimo MX33.

after Key combination E+8.png

The annoying thing is that I can only use this command once. If I close the screen and reopen it, it goes wrong again, and the key code E+8 no longer works. I then have to shut down Windigipet completely.
With Wireshark, I also encounter things that are not described in the latest Can bus.
such as, I suspect, the hardware version.

STEIN_V3(0x9003, "StEin V3"),
It doesn't matter which STEIN I place in the linear connection or with ID number. It is always the 2nd position and now apparently also the 4th position.
I will see if a bus terminator can provide a solution. It is placed on the last Roco Module # 12.
Hopefully this helps.

All the Best,

Rupert.
