Dear All
I have finally decided to to upgrade my old IB 650 for an ESU ecos 50200 (firmware 3.4.1) running WDP 2009.5 (11.5 230 - 32). I have connected the box to my PC via an cross over ethernet cable. The PC has an address of 10.0.0.2 and the ecos has an address of 10.0.0.3. I can access the ecos from my pc from an IE page and also can ping the device.
Whem i try and access it through WDP i get the following issues, (WDP reconises the esu device a green light is reported top right corner of program)
1) No locomotives will move or the functions work via WDP.(mfx & motorola)
2) I cannot switch via WDP points & signals ( no lights are displayed)
All of the above work fine manualy from the ecos box
I am a beginner with the ecos system. Do you have to add all the points & signals & track diagrams etc into the ecos system or can they be downloaded via WDP
Thanks for your help
Andy

Hi Andy,

please take a look at the manual. There you will find explanations for transferring the locomotive and solenoid devices from Win-Digipet to the ECoS and also the linking of these objects in the ECoS with their counterparts in Win-Digipet. I think you have just to search for transfer.
See chapter 5.4.7 and 5.4.8 for locomotives and chapter 7.2.3, 7.2.4 and 7.8 for solenoid devices.

Regards
Markus
