Dear WDP friends
I have 8 trains on my layout which can run independently from one station to other stations. (Start contacts, brake contacts and stop contacts). The Time table is used to control this trains. The train number 1 starts at 12:01, trains number 2 at 12:02 and trains number 8 at 12:08 and stop under Time table on the stations as I suppose. The trouble is when all trains start at same time 12:01. Some trains overrun stop contact, some trains running and do not stop. The Inspector says "all is O.K." but some instructions for trains are frozen. I can see message on screen "Lenz System is not connected".
I do not know if I do something wrong when I set up Hardware, Program, Routes etc. or
I have old computer.
Please could you advise me.

Hi Zdenek,

I saw in your profile that you use a 400MHz-PC with W2K.
Your PC is obviously a bit to weak and this is most probably the reason why some locs stop with delay when up to 8 are controlled at a time. In this case I would recommend to take a more powerful PC with some more RAM.

To be honest: I have no idea from the distance why this message appears. Could be the interface itself as well as the cable, the com-port of the PC, etc.
Normally there is no problem with WDP in conjunction with Lenz 3.5.
Maybe (guessing) this problem is solved when you try another PC as mentioned before.

Hello Zdenek Sodomka,
Is the Lenz Interface + Roco Digital system supported by the Lenz interface and WinDigiPet ?
Have you set the baudrate in WDP accordingly to the interface ?
Which version of the Lenz interface do you use ?

You could also try the new interface provided by Roco ( http://www.roco.cc/content.php?id=1472&m_id=1232&pd=650&kat_id=Nyw3LEFjY2Vzc29pcmVzLERpZ2l0YWwsLDAsMCwwLDE=&typ_1=&land=&epoche=&spur=0&artikelnummer=&search=1&p_search=&page_cp=18&acdc=" target="_blank">Rocomotion ref. 10785) unfortunately the new interface provided by Roco is not compatible with WDP.

Hi Zdenek,

Do you use Windigipet 8 or 9? I think you have version 8.x, because we are still working on the international version 9 and until now there is now version with english error messages.
HAve you installed all updates for your version (http://www.windigipet.de/download2.html" target="_blank">for Version 9 German or  http://www.windigipet.de/downloadintl.html" target="_blank">for Version 8.x international).

Best wishes

Hi Yann, Markus and Rudiger

Thanks for your reply. It was my first input to your Forum. I agree with your opinion that I need better computer to prevent communication against Traffic jam between WDP and me layout of railways. My translation "Lenz-System nicht bereit" as "Lenz system is not connected" is a little bit uncorrected. The models have gage TT (1:120), Locomotives are made by Tillig, Roco and my selves and equipped by Lenz decoders DCC + ESU Loco sounds. I use Lenz Digital plus system (LVZ 100 + LH 100) and LC 100 XpressNet DCC Converter for input of ROCO "Digital is Cool" (Loco mouse 2). The computer Dell Latitude Cpx 450 MHz, 512Kb RAM, 20GB disk, WK2 + SP4 and WDP 9.0 + updates is connected trough COM1 (115000 bauds) with Lenz interface LI 100 (version 3.5). All decoders and feedback modules are working properly when I use mouse to click on my layout showing on the screen. Problems are coming when I wont from program WDP too much on my computer.

Hi Zdenek,

I am also running WDP 9 with Lenz 3.5, even in the same gauge TT with Tillig locs.

You have the interface LI 100. If I remember right this interface does not support a baudrate of 115.000 as you have in your COM1.

I am running with 19.200 and it runs properly. Please check you settings again.

Best regards
Rainer
