Hello,
I have the following issue with the martrix in the tour automatic editor.
I would like to not allow Diesel loco to use a given route.
For this I used the matrix in the tour automatic as shown in the picture attached.
When I  run the tour automatic the loco type 2r diesel do use the route despite the fact I removed it from the list of the matrix.
Am I missing something ???
Thanks.

Salut,

look at your autmatic editor and there at line 10. There's the same tour again in that automatic and I guess that there the diesel is allowed. So the diesel takes line 10 and executes it and not line 1.

If this should not be the solution (but I think so! ;) ) then have a look at your loco and your train if it is a diesel. If you have created a train with this loco and the train matrix says electric that this train may use line 1.
Viele Grüße,
Stefan

Hello Stefan,
Thanks for your answer, it was the train matrix.
One thing:
I need to understand something which is not clear for me with those locs matrix in the english userguide:
As far as I understand the train matrix is the priority one versus tour automatic matrix. Can you confirm?
Now if this correct if I couple a diesel Loco to a train with an electric matrix loc, the leading loc is now seen as a electric loc ? Please confirm?
I would like to always see the correct loc type in front of a train: Is it possible? How can I proceed?

thanks.
Regards.

Hello,

no, the train matrix is prior to the loco matrix. It describes the type of vehicle. If a train exists only the train matrix is valid.
The automatic matrix is additional to the tour matrix, both of them are valid.
For the one type of matrix describes the vehicles and the other one the moves both are valid at the same time.

If you couple a diesel an an electric loco the result it what you say. Either in the train matrix or if you use couple routes then what you set there.

The last question: not autmatically. Imagine a historic train with a steam loco on front and an electric additionally at the end. What kind of train is that? Steam? Electric? WDP can't decide that. You have to do that.

Stefan
