Data restore W. D. 8.1

how can i to restore the lost track diagram saved in backup with W. D. 8.1?
The system can do it?

Hi Marcello,

I don't know WDP 8 - I startet with ProX (= WDP 10). Do you have a WDP Maintenance? If so then start it chose an old backup you made and check the box "track diagram". Then click on "restore" (or similar - I have the German version).

By the way: you can update your 8.1 for free to 8.5. You should do that because it is inhanced.

I think that's not possible with 8.0 there's no button to restore.
I don't know 8.5, but think it's the same.
The layout has worked well for 4 years, but suddenly he stopped.

In this site i find only the 8.4.1 version, in english.

you're right. 8.5 only exists in German. Please take the 8.4.1. However I'm not sure if the maintenance is enhanced here. Never mind - the update is useful anyway. If you don't succeed please let us know.

Hi,

now please have a look if you have a file in your c:\wdigipet folder called gbild.dat. I don't know if the file name is the same in the English version. If so then please make a new backup of your current project. Then pick in the windows file explorer an old backup and there the gbild.dat. Copy it to your c:\wdigipet folder. Restart WDP.

It was very easy, I would just copy the files from the backup folder to the root.
