stop/start by feedback switch

Plan to install a toggle switch for emergency stop and restart of automatic mode.
By reading text in the setup menu I fond that emergency stop is activated by a closed contact and automatic mode is activated by closed contact.
My question: what kind of switch to be used for S88 input. In my setup (see image below) I expect that signal 79 will activate emergency stop and signal 80 will release stop and reactivate Automatic mode, but what kind of signal pulse or fixed?

By enter 79 in emergency stop feedback it work as expected, and emergency stop menu appear in software
If I also enter value 80 in "start slowly" the emergency status is set to off at the moment signal 79 is off
Why? Something else to adjust in the software

are you sure that contact 80 is not already occupied?

I reconfigured input to 49, this one is also used for a block and this is currently inactive as seen in image just above the setup menu.
If I adjust it to 0, emergency work as expected, but reset emergency ´signal and restart of trains from pulse switch not working.
