Lok-Id0 combined with one loco?

Hi !

I have a lot of locos running one profile with ID0 for all locos.  But now it happens, that a new loco cannot use this profile, it must have some other values.  Is it possible to have one profile with ID0 for a route, and at the same time have one loco-specific profile for the same route?  Will that work?

Hello Per,

This does work of course.

If you select you using profiles, the program will check the possibilities for executing the route the following way:
1. Is there a loc specific profile? If yes execute this! If no proceed with 2!
2. Is there ID0 profile? If yes execute this! If no proceed with 3!
3. Execute the route with the setting from the route editor.

Best regards
Markus

Hello, Markus.

Thank you.  Of course it works?  Well, many things I take for granted, do not work.. :)

Anyway, this is a very good thing.  So I make the needed profiles for those routes in addition to the Id0 profiles for the same routes.

Again, thank you !

Best regards,
Per.

Thanks for this discussion guys.. I have used WDP for years, but I stopped at automatic routing using demand contacts as they work very well on my layout.. I feel inspire to try profiles and tours this weekend...
