Tab: Function activation
In my configuration I add a signal whistle, (when a train enter some of the vehicle displays),
any possibility to deactivate this function by a timer ?
Challenge:
As long as the train waits in actual position the whistle continuous stay active, how to set off?

Hi,

you could create a vehicle macro within the vehicle editor. Within this macro activate the horn and deactivate it after a time.
Then use the macro in the shown window instead of the direct use of the function.

Best wishes

Hello
Heinz

Thanks for your proposal for this issue, I create a train-macro and insert the macro in the vehicle display, but do not get any sound when train enter the actual display. See images below is that correct?

Hi

do not create a macro for a single locomotive. Create a train or better for this case a basic macro which can be used for all locomotives.
Such macros can then be used within the VHD arrival/departure selection.

Hello
Henz

Sorry I still not get any horn sound
-Menu <Macro editor>, Basic macro now created
-Menu <Vehicle editor>, tab decoder the horn is modified to <Vehicle/Train> macro
-Menu <Vehicle display>, actual macros inserted

Different macro setups tried, there are sound only when "Horn" are inserted direct in the menu <Vehicle display>
See actual menus below, any tip what may be incorrect. My first time using macros and it seems to be a powerful tool.

Hi,

see 4 screenshots.

1. Nothing to change in vehicle database (no macro selection, but see additional tipp below)
2. Example basic macro
3. Drag list entry Macro to upper window part (selection for macro opens)
4. Select macro

Heinz

P.S.: Why do you use switch for the function in the vehicle database. you could change this to sound button and then the horn will be deactivated after some time regardsless of the activation source, see horn in my first example picture
