Hello, I have problems to connect my Win Digipet to the Märklin 6021 with interface 6051.

My configuration is: Win 10 Home, Win Digpet 2018 premium Edition. I bought a RS232 -USB cable and this use the COM3 port. The port is working fine, the settings is 2400 Baudrate, No parity check, 2 stop bits, 8 data bits.  1 Start bit couldnt be changed in the port settings. The DIP switches on the 6051 is 1 and 2 are set to on, 3 and 4 are set to off.

What is the problem here?? The cable between PC and 6051 seems OK there is no damages.

Hi Krisitian,

not every RS-232-USB-Cable is working well with this device. We have the best experience with devices having a FTDI-Chip inside.
Has the 6051 ever been connected to a PC before? There were also some devices on the market, that were not able to handle feedback request commands from the PC. These "defect" interfaces are not usable with the program.

Hi Markus, yes I have connected it before but was 8 years ago. Then I used the Win Digipet 9.0 version and it worked fine with my old PC. The RS232 - USB interface I bought on E store. Do you now any other product that I can try instead of this?
