I have a problem with the dispatcher in WDP version 2021, but it works in version 2018. Tried also the premium version 2021 but it does not work either.

To test a turntable decoder created by a friend, I created a simple turntable in version 2018, to begin with. The decoder works very well with Märklins 7286.

To change the turn direction, two arrow buttons are created with the addresses 227 green and 227 red.
Both WDP and the decoder react correctly with the two buttons, but there is no obvious indication of which direction is active.
To overcome this, two simple records are created in the Dispatcher to turn on and off red/grey indicators above the buttons. It works as expected with 2018 but not with 2021.

Can anyone tell me what could be wrong?

Maybe I should have addressed the developer with this odd difference between the Dispatcher in version 2018 and 2021.

Yes this function is not possible in 2021. But you had luck, that it worked in 2018, because all in this version this was never intented to work. It worked due to a greater bug in the dispatcher logic. We fixed this for 2021, but now it came back to the fact, that it was never intended to work.
Maybe we can change this in a future version, but at the moment this ist not possible.
