I've upgraded my DR5000 to YD7001 and using windigipet. When I send sound function command from WD to loco beyond a certain F, from F16 I think, the sound doesn't work, while using directly the YD7001 loco driving panel all the functions are working properly.
Have you experienced something similar?
Are necessary specific WD set up?
Thank to everyone can help.

Hi Mirco,
Which version on your YD7001 do you have installed?

I don't know the problem. With my ESU and Zimo sound decoders, the sound goes as it should up to F28. Also works through WinDigipet 2021 Pro.
I have installed firmware 8.2.2 on my YD7001.
Please also ask your question to Mr. Kast from the company YaMoRC. Maybe he knows a solution.

Hello Christian

I've got the 8.2.7 version.

Actually I didn't reach the DCC packet set up and the refresh switches of the functions from F9 and beyond were still on OFF, even if the functions until F16 were working properly.

Anyway, once turned on that switches nothing has changes, so I went for plan B and wrote to Mr KARST  ;D.

Thank you again
Mirco

I've contacted Mr Karst, very quick answers and feedbacks indeed!

After reviewing the logs, it seems that it's WD that doesn't send the function commands from F17 and beyond.

In the first file named Log F7 :
1 - Is the F7 command sent by WD
2 - Is F7 command sent by YD7001

In the 2nd file named Lof F17
1 - The F7 command sent by WD is missing
2 - Is F17 command sent by YD7001

Any idea/suggestions?

Hello Mirco,
I can't see any error. Have you selected the YD7001 in the system settings?

Hello Stefan

I think so.

If I've understood properly the LOG, LU0 are commands coming from WD and YU0 the ones coming from YD7001.

I confirm that pushing the WD loco panel function above F16 no LU0 commands are recognized, while below F17 they are listed in the log windows.

Thanks
Mirco

Hello Mirco,

Working at my side, see attached video.

Idea:
I found a setting in the YD7001 which could effect, that the commands might not be sent.
Clock on the Loconet connectors in the YD7001 program, then Expert, make sure that the Zentralenkennungs-ID (don´t how it would be translated) is set to IB and not YD (maybe reboot required after change).

Regards
Markus
