Hello
WDP friends

Traffic delay, trying to understand why this situation occurs:

1. If I force a block busy which is indicated by a X in image tour1, all trains behind run forwards to the last free block, perfect and as expected.

2. Train RC4 start at block 2 and no blocks in forward directions are occupied, Di3 at block 1 will now wait until R4C is out of block 24. Not as expected and will delay other traffic.
What is the reason and what may be wrong in my configuration?

Kind regards
Kjell Ivar

Hi Kjell,

is the route from 1 to 24 a single, continuous route without sectional releases? Or have any conditions been defined for the route 2→24?
If you could make the project available, it would be easier to provide specific assistance.

thanks for your interest Manfred

The project is included as a zip file
Open
<Journey editor>, Tours, ID8 (Station2>Station2) will show how the Journey are build.
My test also include ID22 and ID43 all controlled by the <Tour Automatic>

Hi Kjell,

sorry for overseen your project file in your first message. But anyway it would be better to have a file including the locomotives. So I can check the routes in the simulation mode. It's best to save the project for the forum by clicking on the globe icon.
Why do you use the security contact in each route? At least in the route 24>29 (ID22) it could not work because the defined contact 59 is not part of the route. Please change or delete it and try again.
And by the way the section releases in your short routes with only two contacts don't give you any benefit

Hello Manfred, and thanks for your interest for my project issue.

Secure contacts used to stop a loco if a turnout fails
There has been several issues with the double (brand new) Marklin K crossovers, and then this feature will stop the loco.
I will correct it in the journey you mentioned.

Short blocks, used to increase/ decrease speed out/in of stations tracks. Maybe there is a smarter way to do it by this great software. I m still learning even after several years, there are still a lot to learn.

Tanks for your globe icon backup tip, new file enclosed

Temperature in my Norway town just exceeded 29, train room therefore evacuated

Forgot this one
Execute test by running Fam2 in the automatic menu
3 trains will then start

Kind regards
Kjell Ivar
