Why do WDP software set the massage RT crosses+ "journey numbers", and block trains to drive forwards to next free block? see image.  RT messages found in the tour inspector line 2 and 5.  This issue only occurs for some blocks, What to check in journey configuration or somewhere else?

Hi Kjell,
please check the routes against the occupation of solenoid devices. Maybe there is one or more affected items in both routes.
Remember the basic rule of WDP: "An occupied solenoid device of one route could not been occupied by another route!

Hi Kjell, Brend says you need to check all the routes.
(but now in a bit more detail)
Start with the routes marked in red with the label 'RT-cross'; if the same detector appears in both routes – i.e. the same detector number is listed – then that's the answer to your problem. If not, I'd go through the routes marked in green. A detector has a dynamic On or Off status and is always linked to a route.

All the Best,
Rupert

Hi Rupert,

I am sorry that I have to correct you. Bernd talked about solenoid devices Like Signals and turnouts and not detectors.
The crossing Message is caused mainly by solenoid devices used in concurring routes

Thanks for feedback's, that is great. But sorry I do not find any issue in my system layout, but I believe it is hided somewhere. What I however discovered by testing (my be a clue); if there are no traffic in block-1, (blocked)  all trains stop correctly see block4 image, but by open block-1 for traffic the RT message is given and trains do not move forwards as expected block5 image. My test is done in Simulating mode.

Bernd Senger

Hi Kjell,

it's a better way to attach your project here, so you've got a better chance to find someone could helping you. We are all volunteers working with Win-Digipet and sometimes of course we are with our families or whatever outside supporting the users.  ;)

I took a look at your project and ran the automatic file tour2.fam which include the route sequence stub2>stub2 [27]. There's an error in column 01 line 03 of this route seq. Endpoint of route in line 02 is contact 022 and start point in line 03 is contact 018. This could not work and this would be the reason for working if you close track 1.

Comparing your last pictures, i can't found the route ID 139. I think you deleted the route and made a substitute with route 205. Route 205 looks fine to me.

Messages in the tour event inspector like "Route cross..." are totally normal. Usually they are coming and going during operations. Their meaning is, that not all solenoid devives are released by preceding routes.

Last thing; the train "Am840 00" on vehicle display 004 is set in wrong direction for the tested tour automatic.

Regards from Berlin
Bernd

Hi Bernd
No problem for me to accept you all are voluntaries, and sorry if my demand's is out of your capacity.

Regarding your comment for stud1 tour:
The software first read from col1 and down, if a block is occupied as 22, the software will read from next column (2,3,4,...15) and drive train to one of those blocks if free.
For me that is very nice feature and add high flexibility in how the trains take use of free blocks/routes, compared by just stay and wait.

Correct, Id139 was deleted and recreated as Id205, just as a test to hopefully correct the issue.

Train in wrong direction, I don't know way, but it is not relevant for actual issue.

Is there a way to create a zip file that is possible to insert in this forum? If not my proposal; add a button that do forum backup.

I like to understand how things works, for this issue why there are a free unused blocks as shown in my first screen image.  For all others blocks it seems to run as expected.
I will continue trying to solve this issue and let you know if finding something.

Anyway, windigipet is a great software, currently simultaneously operating 10 trains in my layout, and my planning is to even add more trains.
